From Holy Friday to Easter Monday
Good Friday in Bosa offers a dramatic representation of Christ sufferings performed here for centuries. In the morning (11AM) starting from the old Carmine Church a procession will unfold along the main street, all the way to the Cathedral where the cross with the life size statue of Christ will by raised in front of the main altar. A local choir will highlight the most touching moments of the tragedy.

In the late afternoon the ceremony of the deposition from the cross will take place in a moving atmosphere in the crowded Cathedral, followed by a candlelight procession and the accompanying choir back to the Carmine Church where the body of Christ will be on display for the whole night. These two processions mark the focal points of the holy week in Bosa. It has always attracted numerous visitors to the town for its fascinating atmosphere.
